Family Premium Terms of Service

1. Introduction

  1. These Terms of Service of eKool Family Premium (“Terms”) supplement and complement the general Terms and Conditions of Use of eKool with regard to the eKool Family Premium service (“Family Premium”) provided by eKool OÜ (registry code 11160451, address Toom-Rüütli 10/1-1, Tallinn 10130, Estonia, email: support@ekool.eu; “eKool”).
  2. Family Premium is a paid add-on service that provides additional features in the eKool educational platform for parents/guardians and students. The exact features are described on the Family Premium feature comparison page.
  3. By activating the free trial or a paid subscription to Family Premium, you confirm that you have read and understood these Terms and the general Terms and Conditions of Use of eKool and agree to comply with them, thereby entering into a contract with eKool.
  4. eKool has the right to modify the features and usage conditions of Family Premium, including limiting, modifying, or adding features and functions at its sole discretion.

2. Subscription and Billing

  1. Family Premium is available as a monthly or yearly subscription that renews automatically for the next billing period unless cancelled.
  2. The subscription begins with a 7-day free trial and continues at the price applicable to the selected billing period. Prices are displayed during the purchase process. eKool has the right to change prices by giving at least one month’s prior notice.
  3. After the 7-day free trial ends, the subscription fee is automatically charged at the beginning of each billing period.
  4. Subscription payments are processed via:
    • Stripe (web purchases)
    • Google Play (Android)
    • Apple App Store (iOS)

Payment conditions are governed by the respective service providers. eKool assumes no liability for the terms or actions of these providers.


3. Withdrawal

By activating a Family Premium subscription, you consent to the immediate provision of digital content and acknowledge that you waive the 14-day right of withdrawal pursuant to § 47 (3)(13) of the Estonian Law of Obligations Act.


4. Cancellations and Refunds

  1. You may cancel the Family Premium subscription at any time via your eKool account or the relevant app store:
    1. If cancelled during the free trial, no payment will be charged and the paid subscription will not begin.
    2. If cancelled after payment has been made for a billing period, the subscription will remain active until the end of that billing period and will not renew.
  2. Cancellations do not apply retroactively. Payments already made are non-refundable, except where required by law. eKool is not obligated to cancel subscriptions due to circumstances outside its control (for example, if a student finishes studies). The user is responsible for cancelling the subscription in time.

5. Liability

Unless otherwise required by law, eKool’s total liability related to Family Premium is limited to the amount paid for the billing period during which the event giving rise to liability occurred.

6. Miscellaneous

  1. Family Premium may only be used for lawful educational and parental supervision purposes and only in relation to students to whom you are authorized access.
  2. Matters not regulated by these Terms are governed by the general Terms and Conditions of Use of eKool and applicable Estonian law.
  3. If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
  4. eKool may unilaterally amend or supplement these Terms and change the scope of the service. Material changes will be communicated at least one month in advance. If you do not agree with the changes, you must cancel the subscription.
